Scanner on the way

Just ordered a decent cheap scanner, hopefully it's here before the end of next week. We we we so excited.
I have a ton of stuff to scan, around 100 or so drawings, most of which I want to re-do digitally, but need to scan the original image in order for it to look how I want it to.

I've actually been a DeviantArt member since 2003, but have gone through about 3 different handles before deciding to use my traditional nickname, Hairk. For a while(about 4 years) I lost all interest in art, but have decided to pick it up again as I'm interested in improving what little skill I have. I'm looking to get a scanner, most likely something under $100. Any suggestions ? I feel I do my best work with pen/pencil and paper but will most likely redraw the work digitally when I do get a scanner. Well, I guess I don't have anything else to say.
